Duke Nukem 3D on XBLA Now

The classic game Duke Nukem 3D is now on Xbox Live Arcade. The cult 1996 hit also comes packed with some new additions including, 8 player co-op along with a ‘DVR‘ feature where the player can rewind. According gamerankings the review scores have averaged out to a respectable 85%, of course only 2 sites reviewed it.

The game requires 512MB of space to be free on your hard drive and will set you back 800 MS Points.

Trailer for Duke Nukem 3D for XBLA

3D Realms has released the trailer for their updated Port of the 1996 version of Duke Nukem 3D. In case you missed our last post about the game, it’ll not only feature the original gameplay, but 8 player co-op, the ability to rewind like in Braid, unlockable art galleries, and in the trailer it was announced you’ll be able to upload videos of previous games you played, and put them up on live for other people to view. Come Get Some: Duke Nukem 3D On XBLA Sept 24

Gametrailers TV has announced that the Xbox Live version of Duke Nukem 3D is going to hit XBLA this September 24. To say the game is a port of the 1996 counterpart would be an understatement. Yes, the gameplay for the most part is the same but it’ll also feature 8-player co-op online, an interface that resembles a ‘DVR‘ where you can rewind, and unlockable art galleries. While watching some video of the game, the graphics also seem to be enhanced for HD –  much like a lot of other classics that have made it’s way to XBLA.

This time I’m bringing a crap load of bubble gum…

Duke Nukem 3D Officially Coming to Xbox Live

3D Realms has confirmed the rumors around the internet that Duke Nukem 3D is coming to Xbox Live Arcade. Team Xbox is reporting the classic PC game that came out in 1996 will have a graphical makeover and new content added to the game. Our guess is the game will support High-Definition. I’m grateful to see Duke Nukem coming to XBLA in HD, I just wish the game had a ‘Forever‘ at the end of the name. Maybe one day it will…
