Man, hearing kids that were born no later than last decade makes me feel old when they talk about forms of entertainment. It reminds me of when I was younger and ‘older’ people would talk about some of the greats films that were made before I was born. They would try to lecture me on why films of the past were more original and thought out than the ones I grew up with. Of course, overtime I understood and appreciated movies of the past, it just took a little growing up.

Now, I’m starting to see this younger generation who never played or owned a system older than the first PlayStation, blast some of the great retro games. Up top is one of those examples.

Nerdballoon decided to ask an 11 year-old kid what he thought of the legendary Contra game. What he has to say makes me cringe for a number of reasons and at the same time, I me want to strangle him through my computer. I just hope as he gets older, he understands without these fantastic games of the yesteryear, he probably would never have Halo or Call of Duty.
