New Mirror’s Edge DLC Not Likely to Happen

mirrorsedgeart

If you are hoping to see some more cool Mirror’s Edge downloadable content, you should just stop. EA has confirmed with ThatVideoGameBlog, that the adventures of Faith is probably done with because the company has no “immediate plans” for additional DLC. Since the game was shipped to stores last year, gamers were at least luckily enough to receive some content back in February. Chances are though, the content was being first worked on around the time the game went gold.

Near that date, EA was hoping Mirror’s Edge would be come a new smash hit, but sadly that didn’t happen and in all likelihood forced the company to eliminate any new content for download. Thankfully Europe Senior Vice President Patrick Soderlund, had confirmed not to long ago that a small team is working on a sequel to the first-person parkour game. Hopefully the developers can address some of the problems that plagued the first title, but honestly — I still think the game was treated unfairly.
