Box Art for Black Wii Revealed
Here is the first picture, thanks to tinycartridge, of the box art for the upcoming black Wii, which is slated for Japan on August 1st. I’m not gonna lie, I would gladly trade my white console for this sleek looking one.
The new color screams, “So what if I play Wii Music, I still kick ass.” Sadly, Nintendo has yet to give the green light for production of the new color in the US or abroad. Hopefully they release it and soon because my white Wii is collecting a lot of dust, and with the black console — you wouldn’t be able to see it.

I would personally buy a black Nintendo Wii if it came to the United States. I’d say there is a 92% chance these will show up in the U.S. by Christmas 2009.
