Media Molecule Teases Ghostbusters Pack for LittleBigPlanet

whoareyagonna

Media Molecule has been no slouch when it comes to creating new downloadable content for their hit game, LittleBigPlanet. We’ve seen countless packages of original content and on occasion seen licensed products make its way to the videogame. While most of it has been cool, especially the Metal Gear pack — I would like to see more well known DLC themes.

Today, the talented studio is teasing their fans of a possible Ghostbusters pack. If you head to their official website, you’ll notice a picture with a black background and white font that reads “Who ya gonna call?” Obviously, that is from the Ghostbusters’ theme song, which was song by Ray Parker Jr. If this tease is in fact a Ghostbusters theme, imagine the possibilities.

Not only could we dress up SackBoy in the well known tan uniform; with the logo and all, but they could actually add the proton pack to the DLC. Remember, when the Metal Gear LBP download was released, Media Molecule added the paintball gun. Because of that, it would be feasible to think we could see the Ghostbusters‘ weapon of choice included to the DLC. Heck, they could even add the Ray Parker Jr. Ghostbusters theme song — now that would kick ass.

Of course, this is nothing but pure speculation on my part, hell they might not even release anything that has to do with the Ghostbusters. Although, this tease makes it seem like it will happen, and the company is going to reveal soon.

Whatever it is, there is no question it will be some kind of downloadable content. If you head over to the company’s flickr page, you will see the same image above, but with a few logo’s — however, none of them indicate Ghostbusters. But where the ‘tags’ are on the page, the only one listed reads; ‘dlc‘.
