Video: Weird Original Xbox Advertisement From Japan
It’s well known the original Xbox in Japan was considered a failure. Most like to attribute the system being unsuccessful in the ‘land of the rising sun‘ for a number of reasons. For instance it had a lack of RPGs, it was to big and it was an American system.
I for one would like to mention after watching the video up top, there marketing was terrible. I know Japan is sometimes known for having weird commercials, but the video up top doesn’t make any sense.
Seriously, why would this make me or anyone else want to by an Xbox?
