Some of you sports gamers must be getting antsy because we are only a few short months away for Madden 10. If you are a fan of football, than trust me, you’re going to love this years installment — even if you despised the franchise over the last few years.

If you are still unsure how Madden will end up this year, EA is giving you the chance to play it a tad earlier — thanks to a demo they plan to release. Like every year, EA is offering a free demo through Xbox Live and the PlayStation Network, however, they; along with GameStop, have something else up their sleeve.

The publisher is going to release two separate demos. One will be available (as always) via Market Place and/or PSN. That demo will pit the New York Giants against the Dallas Cowboys, in two, two minute quarters.

However, if you reserves Madden 10 at your local GameStop, then starting on July 15 the company will hand out codes which will give you access to a much more attractive demo. The code will offer gamers to play an “exclusive” 20-minute demo and relive Super Bowl XLIII, which had the Pittsburgh Steelers defeating the Arizona Cardinals.

So if you plan on buying the game, I recommend throwing down the five bucks to reserve it. You’ll get more of your jollies off playing 20 minutes, rather than 8.
