Video: “DEADLINE Post-It Stop Motion”

In February, we posted a official music video by the Electronic Norwegian group Röyksopp. In the video, it had real-life shots of a city being destroyed by the Space Invaders aliens. It was totally awesome and if you missed it, I highly recommend watching it.

Like many fans who like Electronic music, they also enjoy technology on a artistic level. Bunliu on youtube would fall under that category because he used the band’s music in his stop-motion animation, which was his senior project. In the video, he uses pixels which are made out of sticky notes, and they move around his wall and every now and then, we see a classic video game fill up the whole entire wall. Pretty awesome stuff. Below is his own description.

This is my senior project at Savannah College of Art and Design. Where my idea comes from is that every time when I am busy, I feel that I am not fighting with my works, I am fighting with those post-it notes and deadline. I manipulating the post-it notes to do pixel-like stop motion and there are some interactions between real actor and post-its.”

Watch the making of here.
