Three New Screens for Modern Warfare 2 Could Give Some Insight

Because the new trailer was just released, Infinity Ward has redone the new website for Modern Warfare 2. The site gives you access to the brand new clip that was first shown during the NBA Playoffs. However, the site unveiled three new screenshots from the game.

We have posted these shots and you can see the other two after the jump. Each screen is high-res, 1920×1200 to be exact. So make sure you click on them to enlarge each photo, trust me it is worth it.

Notice the picture above? Check out the guy in the alleyway. Does he look like a civilian? If he is, he seems like he is getting shot, which proves my thinking that innocent people running through the streets can and will be shot.

Check out the glass on the riot shield being cracked by bullets pounding on them. That is some serious detail. Also, what the heck are those red lasers for? Whatever they are, I don’t think we want to touch them.

A couple of things I noticed in the picture could confirm a number of things. First, it looks like players will not only be able to drive a snowmobile, but also have a teammate hop on with them, as well. That could make for some fun gaming in multiplayer.

Another thing you might want to know, is the helicopter in the background. Could that be playable too? Man, I hope so.

  1. I think that first screen is in Rio di Janeiro, isn’t it? That big ol’ statue of Jesus is in Brazil… I think. >.<

  2. Yep it is Rio de Janeiro!
