3D Realms Team Says Thank You to Its Fans

If you head over to the official 3D Realms website, the first thing you will notice is the same picture above. Directly below the photo it reads, “Thanks for being fans and for all your support.”

If you don’t know already, the 22 year-old studio had just recently closed its doors for good. The disappointing news came about when Take-Two had decided to no longer fund the team behind Duke Nukem Forever, leaving the long overdue game in jeopardy for the time being.

Seeing the picture above is a harsh reality that no company is safe, especially in a industry so young, and its still just trying to learn the ropes of a newly formed business. As the gaming industry continues to grow at an alarming rate, more surprise like this will come about. However, that is the nature of the beast.

I would just like to wish everyone good luck who worked for the legendary studio, and thank you for making memorable forms of entertainment. You will surly be missed.

After the jump, read each name who is in the photo above.

  1. Not to be an asshole or anything, but maybe they would still be around if they got their shit together and released the new nukem in some kind of reasonable time frame…
