Promotional Video for Red Steel 2 Leaked Online
Last week Ubisoft revealed that Ubisoft Paris was working on a brand new Red Steel game. Red Steel 2 is a sequel that promises to be every bit better than the first title, which we hope considering the first installment wasn’t very good, at all. The first-person shooter will work exclusively with the WiiMotion Plus, and probably means players will have to own the $20 attachment.
The video up top is a promotional clip that was leaked during an event in which Ubisoft did not want to be online. Of course, some sneaky insider thought otherwise and released it to the internet hounds. Because it wasn’t meant to be seen by the general public, the publisher refuses to comment on the trailer.
Now, while watching it you’ll notice, graphically, it looks incredible. My guess one big reason why it looks so good, is because it is pre-rendered video and not actual gameplay. I just can’t see the Wii being able to deliver “those” types of visuals. On top of that, the video is clearly (when not viewed in youtube) in HD, which is something everyone knows the Wii can’t display… Unless of course Wii-HD console is in fact real, and this will be one of the first games to take advantage of it. Wow, am I reading to much into it?
