Video Game Art: “Where does Mario go when he dies?”
Do you think you’re playing as the same man every time you start over after one dies in Super Mario. Bros? The answer is clearly no, as this picture up top suggests.
The art was created by Bill Mudron. I think the photo is trying theorize that the ground underneath the Mushroom Kingdom is a graveyard for thousands of plumbers who coincidently wear red overalls. Strange, I know.
