Play as the Joker in Batman: Arkham Asylum (PS3 Only)
A virtual billboard advertisement in Sony’s online community Home, reveals players will be able to play as the Joker in Batman: Arkham Asylum. According to the same ad, which were found by Kotaku readers, the supervillain will be available exclusively to PlayStation 3 owners.
The same billboard briefly mentioned how gamers will get their hands on the famous schizophrenic clown. Once someone completes a map, that player will be able to reply each level called “Challenge Maps.” From here, gamers will be able to choose to play either as the Dark Knight or his archenemies.
No word if the Xbox 360’s version will have a similar mode, but with a different selectable enemy. Even if it does, I have a hard time believing it’ll be a better villain than what PS3 owners get to play as. So as of now, I know which version I’m buying.

i dunno, being the riddler or scarecrow could be fun. also, i think “Home” is kind of creepy. sort of showing you where humanity is heading towards. the complete escape of reality, rendering our purpose as a species to nothing. i men world of war craft is already frightening but at least there you dwell in an other worldly universe. Home is kinda sick in my eyes.

sickness aside, if your gonna pay real money for virtual object in a virtual home you need to reevaluate your life. spend you money on a new game at least. If you have to socialize in a fake home with virtual buddies you need to breathe fresh air cause it is pathetic.

I disagree, cortez. Rock Band is perhaps the best example of a successful “virtual object” sale model, and by that we can see that type of thing works.
Of course, your problem doesn’t seem to be with virtual content but rather with gamers themselves, for which I must ask.
What the hell are you doing here?
