Trailer For the Wii Version of Ghostbusters

Since the game was announced last year, the Wii version of Ghostbusters has not been receiving any kind of love. It’s probably because the visuals don’t compare in terms of a realistic look like its big cousins, the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. This is not to say Ghostbusters on the Wii does not have its own unique artwork. In many respects, I sorta find them to have a more appealing look. Even Ray (Dan Aykroyd) himself somewhat agrees. “Honestly, I love the way we look in the Wii platform, because it resembles the animation that was done in ‘The Incredibles,’” Aykroyd said. “Anybody who looks like an Incredible is automatically a superhero,” he added.

We should also mention that Wii owners are not getting shafted by the story. The official plot and dialog will remain the same, just the ‘look’ is different. However, combining all this along with the Wiimote acting like a Proton Pack; this could be one of the first titles to actually be better than the other two versions.

I would also like to mention that the Ghostbusters title on the Wii is being developed by the talented team over at Red Fly Studios. Their no slouch either, in my opinion. They created the highly underrated Mushroom Men for the Wii.
