UFC 2009 Undisputed Demo Coming Next Week
There hasn’t been a UFC game for quite sometime now. Even with MMA growing at an alarming rate, the gaming world has not seen a UFC title since UFC: Sudden Impact, which came out way back in 2004. Luckily for fans of sport, Yuke’s (WWE Smackdown series) and THQ are shipping the first next-generation UFC game on May 19, 2009.
From what we have seen thus far, UFC 2009 Undisputed is shaping up to be a strong fighting game, with deep gameplay mechanics. Even with our recommendation, you still might be unsure so, why don’t you try it yourself? THQ has announced a demo which will be available for download on Xbox Live and the PlayStation Network next week. Starting on April 23rd, anyone who has their system connected online will have the opportunity to try out the game engine and see if it was worth the wait.
As of now, we’re not sure how many or which fighters will be selectable, so you’ll just have to download it and find out yourself.

GOD I hope this doesn’t suck. So far every MMA movie sucks and every MMA game sucks, so history is not in my favor. The people at Yuke’s are quality, though. You can tell they’re MMA fans even from their pro wrestling games all the way back to WCW VS NWO. They always liked to sneak in legit MMA moves into those games.
Crossin muh fingers.
