I love fan made short films inspired by video games, and this one could already be a favorite of mine. Kaat Schellen and Michael Van Ostade, have created a LittleBigPlanet movie called Little Big Revenge. The story starts off with an obsessed girl on her knees praying to the almighty himself and asking if he in anyway, bring a SackBoy and/or Sackgirl to life.

For some reason God listens to her plea and as she sleeps, the the video game stars appear in her bedroom. Although, what happens if a “diplomatic mistake causes them to take revenge on humanity?” Let’s just say, SackBoys aren’t so cute anymore. If you’re wondering what happens, just watch the video, but I’ll give you a hint — Lancer rifles and SackBoys are not a good combination in the real world.

I totally recommend viewing the whole imaginative short film from beginning to end. Additionally, make sure you watch out for a bunch of video game references, including: Fallout 3, Gears of War, BioShock, Shadow of Colossus and more…
