Ghostbusters’ “Rule 3″ Trailer
As a child, one of my favorite films was Ghostbusters. Sadly, the only decent memory I have about a video game version i enjoyed based off the ghost hunters, would be for the Genesis title. Although, that game wasn’t really that great, I just thought the graphics were funny with the giant bubble heads.
Thankfully, Atari is giving the franchise another stab in the world of video games, and its shaping up like it could be an entertaining title. The publisher was even nice enough to release another trailer, which should get us geeks excited to finally play as a Ghostbuster in a 3D world.
Like the last trailer Atari revealed to the Internets, this one also includes a name, which is titled ‘Rule 3: “Split Up…” The point of the clip is to show off a number of things. First, we get to see Terminal Reality, who is the studio behind the action game, show off how many enemies they can display on the screen at once, even with your favorite busters not around. Even with all the supernatural baddies running ramped, Ghostbusters: The Video Game looks to feature a respectable engine that has a honorable amount of destruction going on. Something a lot us weren’t expecting.
Ghostbusters: The Video Game, is due out in stores on June 16, 2008 for the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, PC, Nintendo Wii, Nintendo DS and PlayStation 2.
