Last week, Nintendo Power confirmed that Ubisoft is working on a new ‘Raving Rabbits‘ game for the Wii. It sounded the title would solely focus on the craziest (literally) video game characters we’ve seen in awhile. Of course, we are talking about the Rabbids. Today, the publisher announced we should see Rabbids Go Home this holiday season, and it is indeed coming out for the Nintendo Wii.

So far, we know the game is being developed by French studio Ubisoft Montpellier (Beyond Good & Evil, Rayman), and they are creating it with a brand new game engine. The story will follow the Rabbids, as they try to build a tower of rubbish to the moon. Why? they’re aliens of course, and never question the Rabbids, again!

Remember the first time we saw these insane bunnies and Ubisoft needed Rayman to ensure people would buy the title? Funny how people now could careless about Rayman now…
