We have a fresh batch of screenshots for Sega’s The Conduit. The first-person shooter, which is being developed by High Voltage Software, has already been recognized as one of the best looking games graphically, for the Nintendo Wii. If you don’t believe me, check out the screens after the jump. Even though it’s clearly not in the same graphics league with other FPSs like Call of Duty, it is not that far from a first-generation Xbox 360 title, either.

Unfortunately, no matter how incredible the game looks/plays, I still don’t believe Wii owners are going to lineup to purchase it. Which is a shame really, considering Sega is one of the only publishers taking a risk in the hardcore market for the Wii. Of course, there is a reason why other companies have not experimented to much in the ‘hardcore’ demographic. On top of that, the marketing for the title has been pretty abysmal, similar to Madworld’s advertising.
