‘Ratchet & Clank Future: A Crack in Time’ Announced

Over the course of the year, Insomniac has continually teased us about a brand new Ratchet & Clank game. Unlike last year summer’s short title Quest for Booty, the company made it seem like they were working on a full game. Today is the day they confirmed a new R&C game and it will be called Ratchet & Clank Future: A Crack in Time.
The game is promised to conclude the story that left unanswered questions from Tools of Destruction and Quest for Booty. As the name suggests, one way the narrative will answer them, is by Ratchet and his robot friend traveling trough time — a gimmick we would like to see more games use.

The game is also promised to use the same game engine as the last two titles. Which means it’s going to look incredible, when it comes to the graphics.

According to the Sony PlayStation Blog, the first trailer will debut on GameTrailers TV this Friday on Spike TV. In case you miss it, we’ll try to get it up as soon as it becomes available.
