I tried watching the television series Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles, however, I just couldn’t get into it. Apparently, I wasn’t the only one because the ratings severely dropped overtime, forcing Fox to broadcast the show on the dreaded Friday time slot. I guess the combination of the recession and rating plunge has put a damper on the show’s finances.

A reader over at gizmodo caught something during last weeks episode. If you examine the picture above, you’ll notice a headset being worn. If you really study the headset, you’ll see it’s identical to the wireless Xbox Live headset — painted black. We’re pretty sure someone on the show purchased the the accessory; dipped it into black paint and called it a day.

I just hope in the Terminator universe, when the headset runs out of battery life it doesn’t make that static noise like it does on Live. That has to be hands down the second most annoying sound on Live — next to someone rapping, of course.
