High School Students Upset Over Dog Killings in Call of Duty
If any of you have played Call of Duty: World at War, than you know this — those killer dogs are dangerous, and they must be stopped by any means necessary. I’m sure EVERY single reader here would absolutely kill those virtual dogs, but wouldn’t dare to hurt one in real life — unless its after you, of course. A a group of Massachusetts students are think differently and are bothered by Call of Duty’s dog killings. They’re so upset, they are bringing their protest to the publisher, Activision. Breanna Lucci, who is president of the Animal Rights Club at the Academy of Notre Dame in Tyngsboro, spoke out against the dog violence:
“Killing dogs as a form of entertainment … over and over again. That’s one of the objects of the game. Parents need to know what they are buying their kids. Killing animals should not be a form of entertainment…
My little 12-pound Pomeranian, Winnie the Pooh, is sitting next to [my brother, who is playing CoD:WaW], and I’m thinking, ‘This looks horrible!’ My brother is a sweetheart. He won’t be killing dogs after playing. But some people might.”
Okay call me an ass, but I couldn’t stop laughing hysterically after I read “He won’t be killing dogs after playing. But some people might.” I know, maybe its wrong for me to laugh at a bunch of high school students, but come on — is that even logical? The more I see stuff similar this, I truly believe that people who are against violence in video games, have never even tried to even pick up a controller. And if they did, it was only to prove to themselves and others, how gruesome a game can be. I think that’s what is probably going on here.
I hope her loving dogs does not cloud her mind on what actually happened in World War II, you know the same war the game is based off of. The countries involved did you use dogs to attack people and anyone would do anything to defend themselves from the canines — even if it meant they had to kill them
But don’t worry Breanna, Activision did not use Winnie the Pooh’s breed in the FPS, which again is a Pomeranian. Those dogs I’m affiad, are pretty much useless (see pic below).

So they have no problem with the virtual violence of killings humans, but harming an animal is too much. Lol. Not to mention its only a GAME. /Sigh.

Animals get more public outrage than humans do.
I always think of Mike Vick rotting in jail vilified by all of the USA, jersey burnings protests, etc.
Leonard Little (DE for the Rams) killed a HUMAN while drunk driving over double the legal limit. A few years later he was caught drunk driving again. No one burned his effigy and he is still playing to this day (with some minor league enforced suspension).
I would personally kill hundreds of dogs, especially the cute ones to save one human life. Anyone who would not is not a rational thinking individual.
So to recap these high school students beefs. Racking up head shots and knife kills on humans: a-ok! Shooting attack dogs: so very wrong.

What’s next? Are they going to protest the killing of Nazi Zombies? I mean, they have feelings too right?
