This is Bull $hit! I don’t understand why one obese girl should be used as the standard to compare all girls that play video games. Have them seek counselling and follow a diet plan to get healthy so they can grow old with you and still play video games and watch Transformers. It’s not a joke. A joke is: “A skeleton walks into a bar and orders a drink and a mop.” This is little more than school age teasing that is thought up by someone with low moral character. Not only is making fun of an obese person universally inappropriate, but the “joke” itself isn’t poorly founded.
Very poor story administration, even for this site. And it doesn’t speak well for the other two sites in this community.

She could make the decision to work out and eat a healthy diet to avoid such scrutiny, but she doesn’t. Ok, I apologize. I didn’t define my terms well enough for some of the less initiated and poorly educated. Yes, her choices of lifestyle could have been changed and the result is her responsibility. However, it has long been held that a civilized society shouldn’t point fingers and laugh at these people making them the social martyrs for lifestyle choice. It’s our responsibility to recognize her character flaws, but not to flaunt them for our amusement. To do so would be ignorant and socially inappropriate. Make special note of this next one because I’m sure you’ll want to strut up to your teacher on Monday and show her that you learned something over the weekend. A “double negative” is the use of two opposing words that cancel each other out in a sentence. An example would be: “soft rock.” “Soft” meaning light in weight or smooth to the touch. “Rock” is an object that is (mostly) a rough, jagged mineral deposit that is generally never light in weight. In the sentence “…the joke isn’t poorly founded,” “poorly” means lacking in quality while “founded” intones the research involved in the writing of a good joke. Now I know, I know. You’re saying; “Aaron, I didn’t mean when you wrote ‘poorly founded’ but when you mis-wrote the word ‘isn’t’ instead of ‘is’.” For that, I apologize. I guess I just assumed that, while not the highest caliber of education abounds, a simple slip of the mind would be given some leeway in lieu of the subject of my post. I guess I was wrong and you chose to pick apart my argument instead of making your counter-claim as to why it’s ok to laugh and tease fat people.

As far as I know and the commenter of this article know, /Gamer and the author probably did not take this picture, they also probably did not tell her to take this picture. I figure this since some other site posted it and they decided to share it further. Now I could understand your anger and the anger of some of the other readers if they had done so. However, THIS GIRL decided to pose for this picture. THIS GIRL either uploaded it or send it to someone who then uploaded it. THIS GIRL does not appear to be under duress or surprised that her picture is being taken. As soon as you take a picture of yourself you need to understand that it could end up on the internet, a place where I can be as immature as I feel like and make fun of fat chicks when I feel like it.
