IGN has posted a few screens for Konami’s upcoming iPhone game Metal Gear Solid Touch. So far, the game is looking like a decent action title for the phone and the name alone is a huge plus to be available for the device. That is something Apple desperately needs if they want to attract hardcore gamers.

One of the things Konami looks like they are trying to achieve in the game, is to get as much chaos on the display as they possibly can. Just check out the picture above, notice how the dirt and particles are being flown through the air? That could be a great effect for players to feel immersive in a full fledge war, however, they could just be playing on a bus and forget about that for a few minutes. If the game is going to be more like a rail-shooter — they better get that ‘war’ feeling down, because that’s their best shot for gamers to accept the title as a true Metal Gear game.

As of now, there is no firm date when Metal Gear Touch will be sold in the iPhone’s App-store.
