New Screens for the Dexter iPhone Game

Showtime and Marc Ecko Entertainment have released screenshots for the iPhone game adaption of the TV show Dexter. The three new shots finally reveal what a virtual Dexter will look like and the environments he’ll explore. The game, which should be out this year, is shaping up graphically to be one of the better titles to be released for Apple’s device.

For the people who are not familiar with the show, Dexter is a blood-splatter analyst for the Miami-Dade Police Department during the day, and a serial killer by night. By using his detective skills, Dexter hunts down criminals who have either escaped the justice system on a technicality or who have yet to be found by the law. Dexter not only takes the law into his own hands by killing the criminals, he also gives into his own secret urges of taking a life. Yes, it is that cool.

The video game will not only be written by one of the shows scribes, Timothy Schlattman, but also voiced by Dexter himself – Michael C. Hall. Hopefully that alone will give the game the show’s vibe.
