I’ve sometimes wondered, what happens when to the Mushroom Kingdom when Mario runs out of lives? Apparently he turns into a torn-apart flesh eating zombie, devouring everything that he comes across (stay away Princess Peach!). Well, at least the guys over at singlesecond thinks so, because they designed a shirt that has a large undead mario, eating away at a 1up mushroom on the front. Very cool looking, but yet disturbing at the same time — mostly because Mario is a childhood idol of mine. And seeing your Idol as a zombie feels well…kinda wrong!

The shirt is selling for only $16 and is available from a medium-XXL.

On a side note — how cool would a zombie inspired Mario game be!? It would be better than Mario Sunshine, am I right?
