Man Arrested Because He Threatened to Blow Up Hudson Entertainment
A 29-year-old Japanese man threatened to blow up and/or killing all the employees who work for the video game company Hudson Entertainment According to the police, Takao Ike made the criminal threats because he was unsatisfied of the quality of games Hudson had been releasing.
Over the course of three months, Ike sent various emails to the gaming publisher demanding that they send him 80 trillion yen ($893 billion) where he would pick it up at the JR Takamatsu Station — the place where he worked.
Because Takao Ike was a complete idiot, it seems like the Metropolitan Police had no problem finding him and is now in police custody. In a signed affidavit, Ike said: “I did it because I wrote in my opinion, but they didn’t make better games.”
Now, we agree that we would love to see Hudson create better quality games, but asking for $893 BILLION is just unreasonable, maybe a few million would have been just fine — but his ransom was way out of reach!
