Grand Theft Auto is one of the biggest franchises in video game history and it is set to make it’s mark for the first time on the Nintendo DS. The game was promised to be released this holiday season when it was announced by Nintendo back at E3. However, with the holiday season already in progress, it was obvious that wasn’t going to happen.

Today, Rockstar confirmed in a press release that Grand Theft Auto: Chinatown Wars is scheduled to be in stores on March 17 in North America and March 20 in Europe. The title is promised to be a brand new incarnation of the series and will utilize the touchscreen and other features the handheld includes.
