Finally, an actual gameplay trailer for the third installment of God of War has ben shown to the public for the first time. If you missed it at the Video Game Award Show, shame on you. But we also have your back — up top is the same video presented during the show. And boy is it looking badass.

As you can tell from the trailer, the original mechanics from the predecessors seem to be intact in GOW III, but the game didn’t need to change much because we consider it almost a perfect game.

What caught our attention wasn’t just how pretty the game looks (as always has), but how many enemies were displayed around the 18 second mark. Even though it wasn’t as many ‘bad guys’ on the screen like some other titles out there — it is defiantly more than the first two God of War’s. And we expect to see the game focus more on this down the line.

PlayStation 3 owners be prepared because next year you could possibly own best game to come out this generation.
