Video: PC Mirror’s Edge Compared to Consoles

There is no question about how much better a high PC can outperform a next-gen console. And with Mirror’s Edge set to be released for the computer, it is defiantly not an exception.

EA and DICE have released a video comparing both the console and PC versions look like side by side. The Xbox 360 and PS3 both utilize the Unreal Engine, while the PC is using PhysX Engine.

Both versions still look great, but the PC enjoys a little more detail. Some minor things like flags swaying back in forth and can be destroyed are only evident on PC, along with some other nitpicking things. Because of that, the game certainly looks better, but is it worth paying a lot more money to enjoy a flag? We don’t necessarily think so, but to some — maybe.

Mirror’s Edge is out now for the Xbox 360 and PS3. On January 13th you’ll be able to pick up the PC version.
