I Think Sony’s PSP Ads are Lying to Us

I’m sure many of you have seen the weird “glitchy” commercial with a guy playing a PSP in the back of the convertible and at the end of the ad it has big letters that read: “LA plays PSP.’ Well, it looks like Sony is going around different cities trying to convince people that everyone in the town only plays their handheld.

While riding on the Bart in San Francisco — I saw an ad inside the train that read: “SF plays PSP“. However, later that night I saw two separate people playing the Nintendo DS. and zero people playing the PSP. In fact besides myself, I can’t remember the last time I saw someone play the device. I believe Sony is lying to us — don’t fall for their tricks.

  1. Remember when it was cool to constantly rag on all of Sony’s consoles? Looks like /gamer and Jon Christensen keep the good times rolling. Hey! let’s talk about how the Wii is only good for casual players…then let’s beat a dead horse!

  2. I guess you haven’t seen my LittleBigPlanet coverage?

  3. You can’t be serious? Hahah I’m starting to loose my faith in this site.

  4. Maybe if there were more games for psp. I got both. psp is just collecting dust.Watch, the moment I trade it in something baddass will come out. Nah, its a psp.
