If it is true that only two copies of Rock Revolution sold for the Wii I would not be surprised after reading the Wikipedia article.

"On the Wii, instead of the specialized controllers players use the Wii Remote and Nunchuk for "an air-drum and air-guitar experience" similar to Ultimate Band. The game will be simplified for the Wii control scheme, and Wii guitar and drum controllers will not be compatible." - Wikipedia

I wouldn't want to buy it after learning that. Also, while there are some pretty good songs available, (Blitzkrieg Bop, Chop Suey!, Falling Away from Me, Highway Star, etc) Guitar Hero and Rock Band already have very similar songs, including some that are exactly the same. Rock Revolution simply doesn't have anything unique to offer, it doesn't improve on anything the GH and RB hava already done better (in many cases it is worse), and even its choice in muscians clearly rides the coat tails of GH and RB (easily 90% of the artists have already been featured on GH, RB, or both). When taking all of this into consideration it is very easy to see why Rock Revolution has not and will not do well.

With all the hype for GH:WT, I had no desire to buy this and I'm sure there's many more who'd agree. But I haven't even seen the game in a store yet. Maybe DonWii is right and "2" is a reserve number. Don't know what else to think. I'm gonna go to their website and check it out now.
