Oh god — literally, oh god. Not to long ago, a rumor was spreading around the internet that a company was developing a Guitar Hero rip off — but with just christian rock bands. Well, apparently it was true.

The interactive studio ‘DIGITAL PRAISE‘ has developed a game called, Guitar Praise for the PC. The video game comes packed with a exact copy of a Rock Band plastic guitar ‘thingy’ and over 50 tracks from ‘famous’ christian bands.’

I’ve got no problem with games and religion mixing. However, I do have an issue when a company bluntly rips off another game and does such a poor job. Honestly watch the video above and check awful the layout looks when you play the game. The freaking Guitar Hero for the DS looks better. And get this, the game sells for $100. So yeah, I personally believe they’re screwing people with faith.

I’m pretty certain that god would create a ‘much more’ original music game. And he would have beat Rock Band and signed the Beatles…
