DSi has 256MB of Internal Memory
When the DSi was announced at Nintendo’s press briefing back in October, Satoru Iwata confirmed the handheld would included some kind of internal flash memory. When it was revealed at the time — no one knew exactly how much it would support. Thanks to IGN who played around with the updated DS we finally know how much we’re going to get when it comes stateside. The unit will include 256mb — which is about half of the memory of the Wii.
However unlike the Wii, if you for some reason run out of room because you consistently purchase games through their new shop channel — you’ll be fine. The device now has the ability to attach a memory stick inside the DSi. Meaning, you’ll be able to own as much downloadable content as you want, without the fear of deleting software.
The DSi is schedule to come out in North America next year.
