Microsoft Doubles Reward for Missing Boy
Not to long ago, we posted a story of a young gamer named Brandon Crisp who ran away from his home in Ontario. Sadly, since Brandon left 14 days ago, police have yet to find him.
His parents and the police are blaming Microsoft’s Xbox Live and Call of Duty 4 because before he left, he wasn’t allowed to play the game. The reason for his obsession, Microsoft felt bad and they have been working with police closely and seeing if Brandon will come online to play the game. Microsoft has also decided to throw in their own cash for a reward if Brandon is found. They have announced to double the amount of money already being offered for his whereabouts and it’s now up to $50,000.
A spokesman emailed the newspaper The Globe and Mail saying,
“Like everyone, we are deeply worried about the disappearance of Brandon Crisp. Law enforcement has contacted Microsoft about this matter and we are co-operating fully with them. We are unable to comment further on the nature of our co-operation because of the ongoing investigation.”
If you wondering if Microsoft is just doing it because they are trying to have odds of a lawsuit — don’t. The parents have no real ground for a suit, because it ultimately comes down to the parenting of the kid and not Microsoft providing a service for a game. On top of that, Brandon’s dad Steve Crisp wanted to make sure he has no plans on a lawsuit and wants anything that can help find his missing son, “I’m not on a witch hunt. I just want my son back,” he said.
If you have any information regarding Brandon and where he is, contact the local police by calling 707-725-7025.

Well I will never will blaime games. But I will blaime my child for runing away like this. Becoues it not worth it. Just becoues he or she not allowed to played games online. One the thing I would is to play with my kids. And I will do so. And also tell them this just a game. And I will also play online with them. And tell them how to behaived online. And that what I will do. I thing that blaimeing games will only make matter worster then it is. And I will like to see this kid go back to his perents. But I think the parents and polices shouldn’t blaime a video game console for there choese. Becoues there was no XBOX 360 when hittler kill all thoese jews back in World war 2. And I knoe the fact he did it in his owned choese. And I like to see them admint that it was kid choese and not XBOX 360 choese for him to run away from home. I think the kid have problumes. Beccoues I think in the matter he did it. He having probulmes in home and school. And poeple on live are the only poeple that can listing to him. I think when they find him. They need to give him some mental help. And I hope they do so. So he can get better. And have better out look of himself. And that what I think poeple should do and treat him as mental ill person that is crying for help.
