Mortal Kombat vs DC Universe Confirmed to Come Out On November 16

Midway has announced a date for their next upcoming fighter Mortal Kombat vs DC Universe. On November 16, the anticipated fighter will be in stores in North America and in Europe on November 21. The fighter is a landmark for the Mortal Kombat series as they will fight for the first time against comic book characters. It will also be the first time a Mortal Kombat game will NOT be rated a Mature title but instead be slapped with a Teen rating.

Although the game will feature blood, it’ll be at a bare minimal and the fatalities will be less violent than its predecessors. While the DC heros have an option to finish their opponent, they will NOT kill them but beat them severely and teach them a ‘lesson.’

Even though there is a significance difference with this Mortal Kombat, I’m still looking forward to it and believe that even some of the fatalities are more creative — even without the ultra gore.
