A video has emerged online featuring the online multiplayer portion of Call of Duty: World at War. I’m thinking a lot of people will be turned off because the HUD display looks exactly the same as its predecessor, Call of Duty 4. When I spend $60 on a game, I would like somethings changed — especially something as simple as a HUD.

But as with every game develop in the industry, the most important thing we should be concerned about is the gameplay. And many gamers are wondering how World at War will be. After watching the video above, it looks like…COD4. But set in WWII and includes dogs — that you can kill.

I’m wondering if the player can at least control when the dogs attack. Because if we can, every time I get the chance, I’m going to sound just like Mr. Burns from the Simpson’s and say, “Smithers, release the hounds,” on Xbox Live.
