Videos for Pikmin & Donkey Kong: Jungle Beat for the Wii

A few days ago at their annual fall press conference, Nintendo announced they would be releasing Gamecube games remade for the Wii to utilize the Wiimote. The first two games that would be released under the brand “Gamecube Classics,” will be Pikmin and Donkey Kong Jungle Beat. Although ‘Jungle Beat‘ is debatable to be called a classic.

Thanks to IGN we now have video for both of the games. If you’re expecting to see any new graphical upgrade — you won’t. As far as we can tell, they’re exactly the same game as their Gamecube counterpart. While we feel Jungle Beat was a okay game, we think it’s defiantly a downgrade without the drums, but Pikmin should be considerably better with the Wiimote. We loved the RTS game back in the day, but the most annoying part of it was the control. Using a Wiimote to control the curser will be a hell-of-a-lot easier and faster.

After the jump, check out the Donkey Kong: Jungle Beat video.
