Square-Enix Working on a Mind-Control Game

Square-Enix is teaming up with NeuroSky, a company who specializes in mind-control. Both companies will offer a game demo that will highlight the Tokyo Game Show. The game will work with a Windows based PC and take advantage of NeuroSky headset called the MindSky. The device fits over your head and monitors brainwaves. Although, they don’t go into any detail about how in depth it reads those waves, it was confirmed it’ll read the level of relaxation and concentration.

The demo will be available to play at the NeuroSky’s booth at TGS.

Headsets similar have been unveiled through other companies, but this is the first time a major gaming studio is working with one.

Could we see other developers take advantage of a mind-control headset? Would someone like Nintendo be interested?
