If you’re one of the many jealous PS3 owners who are hoping to see Valve’s Left 4 Dead to make an appearance on your system this year, then you should keep dreaming. VP of marketing Doug Lombardi confirmed it while interviewing with CVG:

“There’s zero chance of it happening this year. It’s something that’s being talked about right now as the game is gaining popularity and looking like it’s going to be a hit.”

Sounds like their more than just talking about it. Our guess; Valve has already decided to developed a PS3 version of their zombie killing game and at one point we should hear an official announcement.

We know Lombardi said it’s not happening this year but he clearly made sure not to rule out next year as a possibility. On top of that, the company he works for is having his game being published by a company who never has an exclusive game for any system — and that’s EA.

It would be a mistake not to let PS3 owners enjoy this living dead bloodfest.
