Videos of The Conduit’s First Level

In a world where 3rd-party Wii games for the most part seem to be lackluster and unaspiring, ‘The Conduit‘ by High Voltage certainly does have a lot going for it. Not only does it easily look to be graphically the best looking Wii game to date, but it finally might have captured great motion controls for a First Person Shooter for the first time…unlike Red Steel. It works so well, some people are wondering if this could be the future for FPSs.

At this point, we can’t give you an answer if the controls are the most perfect we’ve ever seen for a console First Person Shooter, but we are definitely not ruling out the possibility either.

Not only does the game feature everything above, but it also lets you play online multiplayer — something we don’t see very often for the Wii. It’ll even support the WiiSpeak Peripheral for voice chat.

Today, thanks to IGN — you can watch the whole first level of The Conduit and not only can you judge for yourself of what you think of the game, but you can see some of the unique weapons included in the game.

As of now an exact date has yet to be announced for the game, but High Voltage did give a hint it should be available around March 2008.
