Nintendo Makes More Money Per Employee Than Any Other Company

Apparently if you work for Nintendo and work as a developer or in research & development, than you probably have a crap load of money. According to the Financial Times, Nintendo boosts more profits per employee than both Google and the greedy investment bank Goldman Sachs.

The paper also went on to say that Super Mario Galaxy made a little profit (we’re being sarcastic):

“The programmers of Super Mario Galaxy will generate more profit this year than the average Goldman Sachs banker has ever managed.”

Each staff member at Nintendo — which is about 3,000 employees and most of them are in R&D or are developers, would take in about $1.6 Million. Those numbers alone make Nintendo more profits per employee than any other company in the world.

And remember, Nintendo is in business just to ‘make us smile.’
