New Wii Music Trailer Makes Me Laugh and That is NOT a Good Thing
When I was sitting through the Nintendo press conference at E3, like everyone else I couldn’t wait to see what surprises they had in store for us. To our avail what they showed us was kind of…well crappy. Not that we think the ‘game’ is completely awful, we just wait once a year for E3, and this is what we got.
When Miyamoto came on stage during the media briefing and was playing the saxophone with the Wiimote, I just stared in amazement. Not that I thought it was the most incredible thing, but more like WTF is Nintendo doing? After a few minutes of watching them play Wiimusic, I busted out in laughter and thinking ‘Is this for real?’
After watching the new trailer above, I had the same blank stare, and then started to laugh. Can some please explain to me why there is a dog instrument.

Nintendo’s taking advantage of the fact that parents/non-gamers are enjoying the Wii as a non-murder simulator.
That’s what’s making the Wii go overboard.
