Call of Duty: World at War in Stores on November 11

Update: Call of Duty: World at War has a release date of November 14 in the UK.

Get ready, because we’re about to head back to World War II. Treyarch’s newest first person shooter Call of Duty: World at War for the Xbox 360, PS3, and Wii will be in stores on November 11. The latest installment utilizes Infinity Ward’s Call of Duty 4 engine, while improvements have been made with the in-game physics. 24’s Kiefer Sutherland and Gary Oldman who played Commissioner Gordon in The Dark Knight, have lend their voices for the shooter.

We’re extremely excited to get our hands on COD:WaW, and can’t wait to see if Treyarch can even be in the same league after the masterpiece that Infinity War created.

  1. Hey Jon, You may also want to point out that there will be a beta coming out for this in October. Supposedly, they are releasing tokens the same way they did for the COD 4 beta as well as for those that preordered the game from Gamestop. Just wanted to let my fellow gamers know in case they have not heard this news yet.

  2. Wow, that was quick. It seems like I just cleared through Call of Duty 4.

  3. Yeah, I know! It’s definitely not the same as with Halo 2 or GoW, with the years between instalments. I believe COD 5 will be released a year after COD 4.
