According to Kotaku and some industry sources, Nintendo is already working on a brand new version of their highly successful Nintendo DS. The ‘sources‘ who are outside of Nintendo, spoke about the updated DS and will support “slightly” larger screens, as well as both LCD’s will have the touch screen feature. No word yet if the system will be more powerful in terms of graphics, but we would assume it would – although, this is Nintendo we’re talking about.

If the rumors hold true, Nintendo will be making an official announcement early next year. Just in time for them to sell as many DS’s as possible through the holidays.
