Grand Theft Auto IV DLC For the Xbox 360 will be Available this Fall, But Niko Might Not be Involved?
CVG received the press release detailing Microsoft’s fall lineup for 2008. One of the biggest news in the report was the fact GTA IV’s DLC is still scheduled to come out this autumn. Here is what was said:
“In autumn there will be news from Liberty City; the first episodes of GTA IV will be available for download exclusively on Xbox Live, underlining Xbox 360’s leadership role in the field of digital entertainment,”
It’s not really a surprise for us, one of the main things Microsoft kept on reiterating about GTA IV was how their console was going to have exclusive DLC for fall of 08′. Then when Comic Con had it’s show San Diego, the actor who voiced Niko (Michael Hollick), talked with Gametrailers and said he hasn’t done any voice work with Rockstar regarding any of their new content that would be available for download. Sites concluded that we were not going to see any new content in the near future.
But with this press release, we can safely assume the possibility that Niko might not be included with the download come this autumn.
