2K has officially dated the PS3 port of the critically-acclaimed First Person Shooter Bioshock. The game will be on store shelves October 21, 2008 and will included extra content not previously with the Xbox 360 version. The port being is developed by Digital Extremes (Dark Sector), and will feature ’survivor’ mode-which will be the same game but the enemies of Rapture will be tougher to kill. As well as a mode where the player will be put to the test  because rooms will randomly change through downloadable content called; ‘scenario.’

October 21, 2008 is set to be a busy day for PS3 owners. If Gamestop and Target predicted correctly, LittleBigPlanet is scheduled to come out the same day as Bioshock. If 2008 isn’t ‘the year of the PS3′, at least 10/21/08 will be the ‘day of the PS3.’
