The Godfather II trailer has surfaced online thanks to gametrailers. The game looks to really focuses on controlling your group of mobsters. At one point in the trailer (a little more then half way), the main “don,” named Dominick says, “My men or more then just a group, their a family.” As he’s saying the voice over, it shows pictures of different men being selected to “bomb” a building. And then ends with, “I call the shots.” So it really looks like you’ll have certain objectives and have the ability to select the best man for the job.

The game seems to center around the reputation you’ll have in the crime community. In the very beginning of the trailer Dominick talks about what’s important to a mobster, “Extortion, racketeering, blackmail, these are the tools of the mobster, without them, my reputation on the streets is worth nothing…” This must be some of the RPG elements EA is promising to bring to the famous movie franchise.

The Godfather II is set to debut this February.
