EA Spells Brett Favre, Brett Farve in Madden 09′
The most “advance” football game of all time looks to have made a pretty funny goof. EA has been running with the whole ‘Brett Favre being traded to the Jets’ story. They have been talking about how they’ll have the quarterback on the Jets with a downloadable roster update, and even going as far to give us the ability to print out new covers for the game with Favre in a Jets uniform. A reader over at kotaku found that EA loves Favre so much, they misspelled his name by spelling it FARVE in the collector’s edition of Madden 09‘. Somewhere, an EA employee has said, “Shit” multiple times today.

To download the roster update. You have to goto an online lobby, and actually go into a match. You are prompted to download the roster when you get to the screen where you choose teams. Why is it that confusing? Who knows? All I do know is this is the first good Madden on the next gen systems. It’s awesome.
