According to edge-online, the first day of sales shows Madden 09‘ doing better then expected. This is great news for EA considering last year sales were down selling roughly 4.5 million, while the year before selling 7.4 million.
I bet one of the reasons for the initial sales doing so well is because of the free advertisement that Madden received because of Brett Favre wearing a Green Bay Packers uniform on the cover. Either-way, this year’s gridiron game is deserving of the sales, Madden 09′ is easily the best version of this generation.
